Christian Entrepreneurs, Vision Boards, and The Law of Attraction- Part 2

But Seek Ye First the Kingdom of God

Part one of Christian Entrepreneurs, Vision Boards, and The Law of Attraction was written in response to a question on an unrelated message board.  The question was, “Are vision boards demonic?”  My answer was, “It depends….” The article proceeded to address popular Scriptures used by proponents of using vision boards and The Law of Attraction to achieve success.  It also discussed the alternative of a Scripture Board for those who are followers of Christ.  The video, “Christians, Vision Boards, and the Law of Attraction,” digs deeper into this topic and touches upon a few Scriptures that give Christians instructions on how to view material wealth.

Christians, Vision Boards, and the Law of Attraction

Whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest…

In addition to the Scriptures referenced in the video, when it comes to on what things we should meditate, Philippians 4:8 tells us

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Material wealth, perceived needs, and our desires did not make the list.  If you are interested in learning more about how to put The Vision (Christ) back into your vision board, please contact us.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

  1. This was just another confirmation for me. Thanks for the gentle reminder to stay focused on what God has and IS saying. I almost got caught up, but the TRUTH has made me free. Bless you, Nicole!

    • Thank you for reading the post! I know it is almost a year later, but I just realized that I had to remove my Facebook comments plug-in in order to see my comments. Weird. Anyway, I am just thankful that God uses me as a vessel and that He uses others a vessel when I need them.

  2. Thanks this helped me I tore down my vision board I will just stick to reading the Word of God and putting my faith in the LORD and His Word.

    • Thank you for reading and responding. Unfortunately I am just now figuring out that you responded, because I had to remove my Facebook comments plug-in. My apologies. I am glad that you found some value in the writing. Keep listening to the Holy Spirit. He won’t steer you wrong! Blessings to you in this new year.

I am appreciative for your video and may God bless you for it. I am a women’s ministry co-servant leader and at the beginning of the year, we always look at ways to encourage the women to delve deeper into a relationship with the Lord. I thought maybe if they set goals,it would help and considered the whole vision board idea. But, for some reason, could not quite put it together. This video just helped me. We don’t want to ever lead the women down a path that could take them away from God! Thank you again. Context, context, context! It’s key!

Thank you so much for this post and for your video. I have just found it and watched it and it gave me great clarity. I had been wondering what the Christian mindset was towards vision boards and this helps me to discern better. I appreciate the Bible verses that you read and explained. Thanks for this!
